Thanks, the main problem is that when this happens the doors won't lock. I don't know what the sensor looks like but should be able to find a picture.

Hi, joined to ask for help with 2013 Freelander2 that that will unlock but not lock with the electronic key. Coincident with one headlamp bulb wire melting and seemingly shorting. Any help appreciated or please let me know the best forum to post this question...thanks!
