    If you make the bumper too strong then you are likely to bend the frame if you hit something. If it must be stronger then why not weld some plate on the ends. Just a thought.

    Don't bypass the relay it is there for a reason. Defender wiring is not the strongest and removing/bypassing is asking for trouble.

    And where exactly do you intend to enter the uk with this long vehicle? If it is one of the busy ports you are unlikely to leave without an inspection before leaving the docks. They get bored.

    I note there are no photos of the underneath which makes me wonder if there are any horrors down below. As has been said many times on this forum check for rust on the chassis? Question why is the floor Chequer plated? What is it hiding? If you are good with spanners then rust and other issues...

    Black wires are earth leads. Sounds like the connection needs cleaning.

    Fitted a turbo boost gauge using busterS guide. I also realized why you never clear the garage out even if you are moving house. Cos you will need the bloody bits later? :mad:

    Fitted new water temp sender for my VDO gauge, bonnet catch fitted now need to trim it so it don't smash the inter cooler, then spent an hour looking for bits I need to fit a boost gauge. I have them just cannot find them :mad:
