The seat bases? No, just removal of one motor and bracket to drop the front to a more pleasant level. Trimmed the runners a little with the grinder but I'm not sure if that's needed in hindsight. Note they won't fit in anything other than a station wagon (possibly double cab). The bulkhead can't...

Think outside the box like I did. Got a full set of seats out of an L322 (Td6 era) for £140, all electrics working and heated with screens in the headrest. Also get proper arm rests by doing these.
If you're a larger chap you may not fit under the steering wheel. Short and may not reach the...

Yep still Tongham, haven't got funds to move house just yet. Not with south east prices.

Mods - hopefully you won't mind this but Zaff if you take a look on fullfatrr.com and its various sister sites then there are plenty of threads about these issues and costs. The fullfatrr.com Wiki has a buyers guide as well detailing things to look out for.

Mine's an 07 3.6TDV8 so one of the earlier ones. You can just about fit a 110Ah Bosch S5 (was an epic squeeze as my TDV8 has the explosive charge on the positive cable) which was recommended on fullfatrr.com. I had on Yuasa 100Ah battery from local hardware store for under half the Bosch one and...

Well having owned a 3.6TDV8 for almost 2 years now I can say that (touch wood) all the problems I've had so far have been nothing to do with the fact it's a diesel. Bearing in mind I've been doing about 20k a year a petrol was going to be inconvenient if nothing else. I bought it with 100k on...

If you haven't sorted one I would give Chris @ CLH Trailers a call and let him know I sent you (if he can't place me then remind him about prices for my Range Rover's bash plates!).
We bought a number of years ago a small animal trailer (I think it was 6'x4') for about £800. Since...

I'm almost certain there are some closer to Reading but I would highly recommend the guys at Challenger 4x4 in Tongham, Surrey (they're just up the road from me). It's about an hour drive from Reading - although that is an a TDV8 :p
Very good reputation across all forums I frequent. Be warned...

I did before buying the L322.
Road noise was very slightly increased over the ATs I had before. Wear wise I think I did 5 or 6k with the and there was wear was only really noticeable because of the change in texture / colour as they got older (were brand new). I can't see them lasting anywhere...

Haven't quite got my 3.6 up that high - best so far was 35.5 according to the on-board (West Wales back to about Swindon area) before there was a pile-up on a Sunday afternoon and was very slow stop-start. After that my right foot turned to lead and it dropped to about 28 by the time I got back...

I / my father had started breaking a Disco 1 with 300Tdi engine in it. Due to me having a trailer available this weekend we'd like to scrap the rest of the vehicle to clear up some space.
Basically the reason for breaking / scrapping it is the chassis is completely shot to pieces. The engine...

Sat 2nd or Sat 9th of August may be possibilities. I'm away all of next weekend.
