Just to add, I've just replaced the fuel pressure sensor & I replaced the fuel pump about 10 months ago. Ran fine until recently. Head is cabbaged with it!! Doogie

Thanks, but I did already check. I've not been wading in it, I just use it as a road car & for towng my caravan. Worst its been off road is on a forestry commission trail, just a compact gravel road. Thank you for your time anyway, I much appreciate it.

That was the first thing I did. I changed all the rubber under the bonnet. The first air intake pipe coming up from left of radiator (looking at car front to back) had a deep rub where it was touching the the intake mounting but it wasn't worn through. I cut a bit from the old pipe, glueing it...
