Series 3 Oil Pressure Switch thread

Folks, Can anyone confirm the thread used on the Oil Pressure switch a Series 3 2 1/4 Petrol engine (3 main bearing). I believe it to be a 3/8" B.S.P. but this is assuming part of the P on my die has worn off as it looks like an "F". The thread looks anything but "fine" but the only other...

    Distributor Question

One of the wires will come from the coil and the other may go to a capacitor on the side of the distributor. Any shorts would need to be fixed so I'd definitely start there. The wire from the coil connects to the points inside the distributor and, when the points are closed, to ground through...

What did you do with your Range Rover today

Changed the rear brake pad wear indicator yesterday. Found another one of the previous owners wee ditty's; they'd used a 80mm long, fine threaded bolt, to hold the bottom of the mud flap on.... thank goodness it sheared off! Also anyone changed the brake lines on a l322, will I want to torch...

Series 3 Fuel filler neck extension

Found the fuel filler today (while looking for something else) This is what it looks like: No chain to stop the filler neck extension but a loop in both parts to tie it down. Any use (if you are still looking for one)??

    S3 towing capability

mind if I ask a trailer "noob" question, what exactly do the brakes on a "braked trailer" consist of? I've had trailers with brakes that operate manually on the handbrake and with the emergency brake away cable that'll pull the handbrake on if the trailer coupling brakes, is this all that you get?
