    Glasgow Freelander TD4

Border Terriers are fantastic wee dogs, I meet them all the time on my travels and they all seem to be hardy, cocky and ready for nonsense. Weimeraners...fantastic dogs, but........there's a long list of problems. They are worth the work but my god it's a lot of work. Oh, and as for training...

    TD4 Fuel line fiasco

I'm looking at sourcing the BMW part. No 320d's or Rover 75 diesels in the scrapyards.

    TD4 Fuel line fiasco

No, it was down at the Renfrew Ferry on Meadowside Street. There was a rover diesel (no use to me) and a couple of petrol ones. The place was pretty disorganised...even for a scrapyard. So, still looking.

Do you know if this 5way array is different on petrol freelanders?

    TD4 Fuel line fiasco

Many thanks for the help guys. I've found a scrapyard in Paisley that has a couple of F/Ls so I'm heading of to see what they want for it.

    Glasgow Freelander TD4

I recently saw an interview with a photographer who owns three weims and lives in the US. His comment that it was easy to keep a weimeraner or three as long as you were willing to give up work and buy a home in the country rang true. Bundles of fun demand four hours exercise a day.

F/L ABS sensor removal - oh no it doesn't!

I made the nice mechanic, on pain of death, swear that he had applied silicone grease with a conservative generosity.

F/L ABS sensor removal - oh no it doesn't!

Had to replace the front DS ABS sensor recently. Thought I had performed a wonder by getting the part on ebay for £79 rather than the £220 demanded by local dealer. Armed with a Haynes manual and a poor intellect I headed out to tackle the job. All will go swimmingly until you try to remove...

    TD4 Fuel line fiasco

I've stalled twice (in the freezing cold) travelling at full tilt and then, voila, pas de engine power. Removed the fuel line from the pump, turned engine and got a frothy mix of diesel/ air. Swapped pump for spare, got a frothy mix of diesel/ air. Ok, search for leak in fuel line, bearing in...

    Glasgow Freelander TD4

Hi Everyone I drive a 2001 TD4 around Glasgow. It's covered in scratches but only one dent. It has recently been cleaned but is most normally seen though a haze of mud/ road salt. It's a gold colour that is called silver!? You will know if you see this jeep because there's usually a beautiful...
