Do you now have a new key for the ignition then which, presumably, is different to the door locks. Any way around this?

Dragging this back up again.I'm running into this issue on my soft dash RRC - same ignition set up. You can get new ignition barrels for £30 or so now but I don't really want to have 2 keys for the car - is there anyway to avoid this other than grinding all the poeces down so any long slender...

Thanks - the dash is the same on rrs/d and d1 and 2 but the heater fan appears not. I have no fan behind the glovebox sadly. I'll see what I can find on the passenger end. Certainly the noise is coming from that end so maybe I'll be lucky. Thanks

Driver's side is controlled by the ECU but the passenger side is hard wired. Now I'm assuming yours is lhd so you might be able to buy the hard wiring from a rhd passenger seat and hook it up to yours removing the ECU. This has been done over here the other way around. That ECU looks grim but...

Everywhere I've spoken to is saying the same. JS will only supply in batches of 5 so no they don't order any. Shame really. SS ones don't seem to get the best reviews. Rimmers have one which looks different but I'd need to check with them.
