Top area I've been on it loads when I was in the army on challenger 2
-
Yes Jason that's the way I did it
-
I got a cheap garden pressure sprayer and put pipe on the end the. You just pump it and leave it to fill.
-
Well I've fitted a earth strap on my gearbox and so far it's been fine. Not sure if it was missing or there should only be the strap on the engine but either way it's sorted
-
Ok cool seen seen the vid, so even though I've a new shuttle valve like shown in that vid, this mod just bypasses the multi plug and gives a writer earth.
Before I look at going this mid I'm going to check the earth to the ABS unit as so far on this veh earths have been poor
-
Ok not going to tempt fair yet buti will let you no in a few days lol
-
I replaced the shuttle valve switch that has 3 Allen head bolts and fits on the bottom
Of the abs unit.
I've read that link you just posted but I'm no wiser lol. Have I replaced the right part or is it a earthing fault?
-
All like new, the just had the TC come on due to skidding on grass and it's put all the lights on again
-
Yes only one fault and it's intermittent
-
Hi all, amongst having gearbox problems I've also got an abs problem. I read the fault code and it came up withe abs shuttle valve. So I replaced the unit and I'm still getting the same fault.
Anyone help on this?

This morning the green lights were is worst yet, 4 times on the M1
Ok had alook under the car today and found the gearbox wiring heaness heat cover worn away but the cables looked fine.
Also notticed there is no earthing strap on the gearbox so Ive fitted one and so far ok
-
Ok but the reason why I don't think it's a power issue is I has do e it whilst I've been driving for half hr and also if I start it in a morning and just leave it idling for 10 min it does it then. I'm going to check all the wiring and earths as well
