only thing ive chipped is a rangerover 2.5DT (1998) cost 150 quid from collins superships in congleton put 35 bhp onto it, improved MPG slightly (if u drive it carefully) and now it really pulls well!

Couldnt be some kind of electrical fault or air leak. Check leads and plugs first ir replace them anyway then check all rubber hoses, make sure there not split and check all clips that hold them onto engine (jubalee clips):) hopefully that could solve something
