Hi, sorry only just found this message - I seem to get emails telling me about PMs but not this one.
The only really tough part of doing the Watts linkage yourself is pressing in the new bushes. I did the smaller ones by putting them in the freezer overnight and then pressing them in with a socket and a long bolt with a couple of metal plates as a home made press. The large centre one was beyond me and I gave the local garage a fiver for pressing it in using their large hydraulic press. If I did it again I would get them to press all the bushes in. Getting them out was much easier as you don't have to worry about damaging the old ones.
If you have the right BIG spanners or sockets it's worth a go. I'll see if I can update the thread.
