Not sure how similar the set up is on the td4 to the td5 but i had the same problem on my td5 and it turned out to be the seat belt pre tens wiring under the front seat (in my case the drivers seat). Tend to get interupted with seat movement. Best to find the yellow connectors and try unplugging...
