Thanks for confirming, removed it this morning to replace a headlight that was out of alignment. It appears the adjusters for alignment have given up.

Hi, I don’t come on here very often and was hoping someone may have tried this already. Does anyone know if it’s possible to remove the headlights on a facelift model without removing the bumper. I know it’s possible on an early model but am unsure if it’s possible on this. A look at previous...

Hi everyone, I was hoping some kind people here might be able to giver me some advice. I have a 2011MY SD4 Auto HSE. For a few weeks I had a reduced engine performance message come up on the display and the car would not rev very high, under normal driving. Interestingly if you floored it it...

Hi again, I haven't been on here for a while and wondered if anyone had any views on shock absorber manufacturers. I have to change the rear ones on my wife's 2011 Freelander 2 Hse. I've had a look on ebay and the price varies a lot. Several makes claim to be OE but I can't be sure. Has anyone...

Hi, haven't been on here for a while however hoping someone may be able to help me. My Drivers front window regulator has broken. It's the usual problem, snapped cable. Years ago I purchased a kit from e-crofting for repairing these. Does any body know how long the cables should be. The...

Look on ebay, a set of cables is about 12 quid. They are not hard to replace, perhaps a bit fiddly but once you've done one a piece of kiss. John.

Checvk that the ferrel that fits into the slider is tight. If this slips then you will get this problem.

How did you get on. I have a similair problem but the white plastic fittings that holds the wire and outer shroud which then clips onto the metal runner end has broken on mine. If you still have your old mechanism would you be willing to part with them. Cheers john

How long did it take to do, I have to do all 4 pipes. Local garage wants about £350 So i will probably do it myself. You can get single and double flares in either SAE or DIN so still none the wiser as to which one to do.

Might be worth having a look at the front righthand mount of the rear subframe, the captivated nut can break away and cause a clunking sound.

Many thanks for the offer but I'm in Hove so its a bit too far. Do you know if they are DIN or SAE type flares. It appears only the more expensive kits can make the DIN flares which I suspect they are.

My 2000 Freelander TD4 has just failed the MOT on 4 corroded brake pipes. I've changed brake pipes many times before but never made my own so i thought i would have a go. I have now had a look on the net and found there are 3 types of flare, single, double or din. A bit of research on U Tube...
