the downpipe is the custom one so i couldont remove it, because of the studs at the top end stops the bottom end from moving, ill have another go, i think im having a funny five mins!

right so ive put in a 200tdi in my defender from a disco, wasnt too bad to do, you'd think after doing it myself changing the starter motor wouldont be a problem! is there an easier way to change the motor without removing the manifold ive sheared a stud off already and beginning to lose patience!!!

I think it would be cool but in the long run i don't want to be going through gearboxes and halfshafts, for the moment i think i will repair my current diesel. maybe a V8 later on lol lol. thanks for all the comments!!

HI i have a defender 90 and unfortunatly its a bit poorly and requires a new engine, i thought since i have to rebuild it i might aswell rebuild hardcore and go for a gmc 5.7 litre V8 diesel engine! has this been done before? if so is there a conversion it available? or a place where parts can...
