Does anyone know of any Landy clubs/meetings in North East England/Borders/Central Scotland? :)

True, but what do you do with all your free time when you have all that reliability on tap? :)

I'm looking for a suitable bottle jack to lift my Defender for wheel changing etc. There are lots around varying from £15'ish up to over £100 for the genuine Land Rover job. Is it really worth shelling out so much for the LR one, or does anyone have any recommendations? Looking for something...

A Land Rover X-Trail, now that certainly would qualify as a special vehicle! :)

Cheers MrJC, not scientific tests but I'm prepared to give them a go! :)

My recently purchased 90 Hardtop has a Land Rover Special Vehicles plate on the drivers seat mounting. Does anyone know how I can find out what's special? Does Land Rover keep a record of such modifications?

wiltshire landyman, thanks, the tyre pressures are set correctly on all four corners. I checked those out first.

Recently purchased my 2002MY 90 Hardtop and noticed that it sits about 2 cm lower on the left land side (passenger side) both front and back. Do I have a problem here, or is this typical of a 90 of this age? Springs look OK.

Hi folks, looking to replace my current set of ATs but not sure what to go for. BFG ATs look good, but expensive. Cooper Discoverers are a consideration, but I'm not sure. Thinking about pairing up with a set of genuine Wolf rims. Driving will be more on road than off. Any suggestions?
