'Rescue' guy shows up. Turns out I need a new water pump. First repair I've needed. I'm not crying too much. I'll put a new belt on anyway at the same time. Want to be back on the road asap so that I can run over a few of these anti-4x4 lobbyists! Cheers, D.J.

- but mine is a 1999 RR. That's a long time for a RR. Had my first problem today - would you believe! Needs a new water pump and fan belt. About £250.00 inc. labour. Can't really complain can I? D.J.

Graham, - you're bang on the money, well done! Opened the bonnet, belt all over the place. But how to get it back on? Its a really fiddly little job. Any tricks/tips available? In fact is there a web-site where you can find the manuals to advise how to do it? Cheers, D.J.

Wierd as hell. Got back to my car, put the key in, got the message : 'ALTERNATOR FAULT', and hardly able to turn the steering wheel. Drove for a mile, steering wheel really stiff, 'Battery symbol' warning light showing. Any idea what the problem could be? Handbook just says ..."Seek...
