disco 3, 18 months old needs a new rear crossmember!! Advised not to tow until replaced! Don't suppose anyone out there tows with a disco 3? No one I have spoken to has heard of this before, can you prove them wrong?:frusty:

so....bought a new disco 3 TD V6 XS in march 2009. Took it back to main dealer for inspection 2 weeks ago (18 months old) detachable towbar had both sideways and upward movement probably somewhere between 1/4" and 1/2". They want to fit a new back crossmember...gobsmacked, don't want a new car...

I have done, they are asking for £75.00 to look at it!! Just wondered if it is a common problem?

My disco 3 is 11 months old squeaky brakes are driving me mad. Seems worse when setting off in reverse after being left standing overnight, sometimes experience clunking when setting off in reverse . They continually squeak whilst driving. Is this a common problem? Had the same with my '06 disco...
