I have 857 installed in my ser2 TD5 (2001) Works fine with spare wheel mounted whips and Atas120 antennas. However, I do get a lot of injector pulse noise on 40m. Higher bands are ok. Tried various ferrites to fix but so far no joy. Almost unusable on 40m with engine running. Dave de GM8UPI

Sounds like my Disco TD5 51 reg, air suspension, a year or so ago. My problem was rear height sensor fault, confusing the ACE system. Body roll became very violent for several seconds, with only the slightest input from steering. Really scary !!!!! Specialist check using LR computer link-up...
