Hi Dippypud
Had a break in the rain and found the nut then it started to chuck it down again along with heavy thunder. When I undo the nut will that remove the sedimentor completely? I guessing you mean the nut at the top on the side, am I right?

Its just started to chuck down with rain here in Jamaica so will try it when the sun comes back. Ur right about that plastic thing on the sedimentor, what a waste of time!!

Thanks Carrington, yep its a TDI, will check pwr to glo plugs. I found the fuel filter under the back right wheel arch so might try to drain that as well.

Hi all, got a 96 Disco that has trouble with first start of the day but has no problem starting after that. Have removed what I think is water from the fuel filter under the bonnet but still has probs. Going to see if I have another filter on the chassis at the rear, would that need draining as...
