Hi on my journey of Discovery!!!!! 300tdi lol head gasket failed now removed and it is a 3 hole fibre gasket type .... I bought an all metal 1.5mm new head gasket as I have been told they don't compress as much as a fibre type? So here is my question? .... I took the head to be pressure tested...

Hi ... I removed the head and can see the head gasket is caput .... I had the head pressure tested and it was ok ... but when they skimmed it they took off 0.5mm .... I bought a metal three hole head gasket as I am informed this will not compress as much as a fibre composit head gasket ...

Hi ... bought a 1996 2.5 TDI Discovery after a few weeks started overheating when I turned on the air con and turned down the heater ... I removed the radiator and found no oil in the radiator whatso ever ... and very little ran out of the two pipes supply and return .... as I am new to...
