When I accelerate half way the car makes a grinding noise almost like a worn bearing. When I just press the pedal a little there's no noise the same when I fully depress the pedal. Any ideas why it only makes a noise in the middle range of acceleration?? The car still performs normally.

I bought a secondhand oil cooler changed it over. Flushed the system and after a few days I noticed it again. Do you think a cylinder head gasket overhaul kit might do the job?

I've got oil in my coolant. I have changed the oil cooler where else could it be leaking from??

My heater on my 2004 td5 auto only seems to heat when the engine is revving. When idle its cold. The engine temp is level at normal. Any ideas? As its - 10 at the moment.

Lose cable from autobox computer to autobox. Rewired and up and runner. Thanks guys

Cleaned the xyz thing. Also under passenger seat there is the big plug. One of the contacts doesn't make a circuit and next to the gearbox is a cable free. Thinking it might have come lose? Got a sparky checking the wires now.

Cleaned and dried both Connectors to the autobox. Removed the bottom plate. Cleaned the solenoid. New filter and oil. Still same error. "Pressure regulator" can't get official diagnostics as in Ukraine! Maybe the xzy switch thing? What is it and where do I find it? Thanks for your help and...

2004 td5 auto. Was working fine but after a car wash the auto gear box flashes in 1,2,3 and D. Reverse is OK but the others seem only to work in 3d gear. M and S flashing as well.

Will rims r18 255 60 fit a discovery 2?? I have original 255 65 r16 but here in Ukraine trying to buy tyres is impossible. So I though change to a size more common. What size is best???
