2006 Discovery 3 TDv6 Again thanks to Ian Bodsworth I’m looking for a new FBH,he said mine is not as it should be and I could either re furb it or just replace it I presume they are all the same across the disco 3 range if I opt just to swap units

2006 Disco 3 TDv6 Thanks to Ian Bodsworth spotting what looks like a cracked nut(locking one) he advised me to get a new nut/bolt or whatever is fitted (I’ve not had to remove a wheel yet:)) So I’m looking one,a standard one will do,not looking for a locking one Anyone got one that I can purchase ?

yes I fixed it I had the blade that came with the fob shell cut and fitted it back into the shell The original blade is now just going to be used as a real emergency get into the car or to be used as a master to have more blade cut from

It’s arrived,just got to work out how to use it :) First job will be to program a keyed I can work out how to do it,after that I’ll have a nose about all the systems on my D3 tdv6 any tips would be greatly appreciated :)

watched it,did it but the old blade doesn’t flip on its own

I have the new blank blade that was in the case.ive tried sanding the case a tad bit it’s just as stiff, if the case is split slightly then the blank flips nicely. I’ll look about and ask round the local area

2006 tdv6 As you can see I’ve swapped all the bits over into the new empty casing but the blade is quite stiff and won’t flip out,you have to pull it out,don’t know if it will loosen or not As I have a compleat new key on its way and that will need cutting I might as well have the new blank...
