Hi, yes as in the previous post thats all you need to do. If you look back in the thread there are wiring diagrams etc which you can work this out from. I have sold the full kit now, but I used a simple remote control box which I obtained from cpc: Remote Control Systems | CPC I think maplins...

    Freelander FBH webasto

Yes worked like a dream, had a chip shop smell about it (work that one out). Had a little employment issue so the FL had to go in return for a smaller diesel, so I stripped the FL of all its goodies. Shame really I had a good time in the FL....

    Freelander FBH webasto

Yep, I did it had to buy the proper hoses for the water side, found a fuel pump (new) on ebay fuel hose and fittings from a local supplier 1/2 a day figuring out how to get my f/bumper mounted fog lights in with the heater, even had remote control and timer..... Took it out 2 months later and...

    TD4 Cooling (Thermostat)

Yep I found it alright it looks a nightmare to get at, as I was looking in the dark a few moments ago, where does the hose go thats connected to it. If it is opening shouldn't this get warm?

    TD4 Cooling (Thermostat)

Land Rover has a TSB to improve its performance, but acknowledges that it is really more of an "idiot light" that won't move above 1/2 unless the vehicle is overheating. I suspect it doesn't actually work since my Freelander overheated with...

I had a fiat 126 as well at the time, when I was refurbin the V8 I took the passenger seat out of the 126 and sat it in there, wasn't to heavy as it was alloy block So back to the problem, is it not impossible to take it of right?

    TD4 Cooling (Thermostat)

Brilliant and how are you supposed to get at that! NO no the engine did fit in although I ended up burning the car and the garage it was in down, by a spark off the welding torch, it just pinged on to the floor in slow motion and up it went, damned those petrol fumes

    TD4 Cooling (Thermostat)

I'm off to see where it is, it took me 1/2 an hour to find the oil filter, this is form someone who shoveled a V8 rover engine into a Capri!!
