Iv tried this. Iv followed the lever cable, but that seems to be all fine and moving, when the selector is moving.

Thanks, neither can I, I’m new to owning an off road vehicle. I thought it over heating was bad enough, but now the auto selector not working. Il keep you posted. Cheers.

Iv just done a jet wash clean on my 1989 Range Rover vogue 3.5 v8 auto petrol, engine and under body, tried to pull away in drive and it doesn’t seem to move anywhere, or in reverse or any gear, managed to move it in L gear. Any ideas please much appreciated.
