Seriously though I can't see how even a jet of water underneath would effect a Classic's transmission as there are no electrics involved.
Owning the same as you ('87 in my case, which means I don't have a VCU) I'd be interested to know the outcome.
Iv tried this. Iv followed the lever cable, but that seems to be all fine and moving, when the selector is moving.
thats exactly what I was thinking and hoping, I’m just not quite sure where or what. I blasted the whole lot, il have another look right over again after work. Cheers
