What he means is he is a named driver, thus he is on his dads policy. Only problem with that Hulkowner is that you won't be accruing any no claims, which at your age is important. DB

    Whats it worth?

I don't reckon £350 is a good price from a mate unless this engine is absolutely mint! in fact I would be tempted to ask him to agree to give your cash back if its a dog, at that price. You can buy a running 2.25 diesel lump for less than £100 and give it an overhaul for another £100 or so...

Went to Sodbury at the weekend, saw some quality wagons and bought plenty of bits, however, I was limited by size as we went in the missus car (Landy wheel bearing has gone). I wanted but had to refrain from buying a replacement seat box section (i have no idea what it is actually...

    How fast can u go??

85mph in m S3 with the Parker V6, although the faster you go the more vague everything becomes: - Steering - Brakes - Vehicles ability to stay in one piece - Ring Piece Control You get the idea, apparently it could go faster (I assume the previous owner mean't on the back of a...

    Exhaust Gauge/Diameter for 3.0 V6?

Shirley whose shirley :-) My father in law has made an educated guess but apparently the calculation as to the optimum diameter is very involved. If no one knows we are going to go with 2 &1/4" thanks

    Exhaust Gauge/Diameter for 3.0 V6?

Hi everyone, I am a Newbie to Landyzone so apologies if i make no sense! I have recently purchased an 88" Series 3 with a Steve Parker 3.0 V6 conversion. The previous owner fabricated their own exhaust system which does the job and got it through it's MOT, however, it is clearly restrictive...

Series IIA Petrol 3.0 Litre Ford engine

What a Coincidence! I have just bought a SWB 1972 Series 3 with the Steve Parker 3.0 V6 converison. I haven't collected it yet (Saturday) but can't wait. I have been told that 80mph is easily achieved an maintained with these conversions (not that I would go that fast, officer!) My...
