OK, the old gal has rallied a bit, still very much "on the edge" but we will see what happens overnight. Wife is expecting a similar scenario tomorrow. :(

Wife is there with the MIL, as are 2 grandchildren. Her Son (who was told first) had not yet put in an appearance. :( He is closer to the hospital than we are , so I am baffled.

In the past where the vehicle has bogged down with a BDL needle has been in low RPM going up to mid-range RPM so maybe a bit off the part-throttle area.

You can always file a bit off the BDL if you loose power top end

I think it is the latter of the two. I think I will pull the "custom needle" and put a standard BDL in there.
