I think the old trucks were hinged in three places because with just one the headlamps would obstruct opening the hood, problem is it's got to be at least one in the middle and jiggle opening it or go all the way with three.
Vent is a problem...
Yikes, I can see exactly why the bonnet lump would be a problem.
I have seen kit cars with a bonnet hinge on one side, but many also, like the one on my Marlin, which is a one piece you have to take off each time.
Can you not hinge it at the...
I think it is more as a result of:
a) Pushing the mini back and forth to park it in at the kerb yesterday.
b) Clambering up & down under the car to effect the temp repair.
I have ordered the hanger rubbers and once I have measured the diameter...
Can only sympathise. Recently I get painful knees from kneeling on them even on carpet. The only way to avoid it is to use one of those cushioned mats, which are a pain but there you go.
Age is not fun.:(
I dug into this and this is what it came up with.
Basically the only humane way to do it is to bash them over the head or body with something.
Any sort of humane trap is seen as cruel, and any sort of poison is a "last resort".
From UFAW:
"It...
Mornin
Suns a shinin, birds a tweetin, grass a growin, what's not to like ? 😊
Still no sign of bathroom fitter, man from council says fitter is ill 🤔
Might cut ma bonnet and hinge it today
Stay focused all :)
Is this on one side of the car or both?
When yer gorra dim bulb it is likely to be a loss somewhere. As above a worn relay contact. Loose fuse. Try pulling it out the fuse to see iffit grips like the others. If the bulb moves about and its ok in...
Asking for herself's dottir. She has a zaffy and the drl lamp is brighter than the night time headlight. Same lamp but the wrong way round to my mind. Reversing the lamp makes no difference (how is that even possible) @Dippypud, I think you are...
I doubt he'll have dug on our patch. one part is fully slabbed, the rest is, as is the whole estate, built on the spoil pile for a long gone pottery of some sort.
Digging into it for any animal would be painful. Which is why we have no moles. I...
Ok, fair enough. Find out where mr rat has got the entrance to his gaff-hosepipe down hole-water on full- stand back with old cricket bat/mean ass dawg…oh and gaffer tape your trooser legs…trust me. 🐀🏏
W has poison on order although we haven't seen head nor tail of it for a while now, since I disturbed it in fact.
Me no shotgun licence, and even if I did we live in the middle of an estate so not far enough away from a road or neighbour to let...
I have now had time to calm down from the farce involved in fitting the oil filter.
Cannot believe that a job I have done many times became so stupid.
Just couldn't get the new, correct height, filter to screw on to its spindle thing. To the...
Extracted me lawn mower from the shed today, first time this year. Petrol smelled a bit off, but gave it an extra bit of priming and it fired up first pull of the chord. A grass cutting afternoon ahead ----
I could do, although taking sumps on and off TD5s is a bit tricky.
In the past with another car I took the sump off and got an engineering company to drill and tap a bigger hole. The problem with that one was that the sump plug was nearly falling...
🤣 🤣 🤣
Similar to what I use except mine is much smaller, and probably slower. Each time I push the pump handle down I have to wait for the oil to run into it. It works in a very funny way. I think a lot of the problem is the narrowness of the...
