Thanks for your reply.
I put bosh glow plugs in. I have tried 3-4 times to warm the glow plugs
On many occasions!this did not make any difference. The light goes out after about 3 seconds..and sorry I have changed the head temp sensor.
And had 2 different diagnostic machines test the car no...

I can see that I'm not the first with this problem.
But none of the other threads have helped so far.
My freelander starts perfect every time until the temperature drops.
I have done the following.
glowplugs
Relays
Head temp sensor
Fuel pump in (w, arch)
Fuel filter
Leak back tested...
