Mine is hard to start and won't rev in the cold on first startup. I just put it down to the cold temp making the lube and fuel oil thicken up and everything slow down. After a bit of cranking, oil pressure builds and the dash light goes out. When I stop cranking the oil pressure light takes AGES...

So why did the bugger fall off? I mean, it's still there but it wobbles all over the shop and is noisy and this means my turbo won't be doing much.
It looks as though the gasket is mashed as well. Exhaust manifold to come off it would seem.
Any advice?

I always wave at new rangie's in case there's a posh bird driving (they rarely notice)
City boys in new Defenders DON'T look at you like they think you want to befriend them to steal from them.
But as I've waved at so many Disco drivers that don't even give me puzzled look that I don't bother...

Rubbish on snowy tarmac roads. A bit of a rough surface underneath and it drives like a Landie, but every other 4wd was getting further than me.
Chains and / or better tyres required...

my 1984 110 has a removeable 'onion bhaji ' filter in the filler neck.... it can restrict flow when in place

i'd say put the switch in anway
maybe a fuse if direct off the battery
