As I have now sold my FF I have for sale four wheels with tires. Style 4 (Vogue) I believe , RRC502640XXX. All tires 10mm tread depth no serious off road use mainly muddy farm tracks and one drive along Rudland Rigg. The wheels are in a used condition but not too bad, one is worse than the other...

Just to finish the thread. TB back in on Sunday all OK, no leaks and vibration gone. Thank you to all those that gave me guidance and advice. Ciao.

Thanks for that. Is there a measurement of how far the diff set should protrude and is it possible to push them back it situ?

Brown. Thank you for your reply and great information. After spending a few more hours today trying to sort this I have decided as you suggest to remove the TB. It seems that the output shaft will NOT line up with the diff spines, this may be because of the wear (247,000 miles) in the diff...

Well two days + 7 hours ago , I decided to carry out the job(s) of replacing the TB front output bearing and seal. As there was also a leak between the housing and the main box I took off the front housing to make it easier (mistake). I have spent the last seven hours trying to get the front...

I did put on a new belt and tensioner recently, as it was due, but noise is still there. Still trying to get the TB front hosuing back on!!!

Thanks both. Had a quick look but no external labels, I shall have a closer look where I finally get the TB front output bearing replaced. Being a bit of a nightmare for the last two days!

Afternoon all. 300tdi 110 HT 1997 My alternator has noisy bearings and I would like to either replace them or the whole unit. But I seem to be going round in circles about which type I have. Any guidance much appreciated.

Seen on a recent trip to Copengahen. Looks like a professional conversion. It is registered as a commercial from the markings on the lower rear wing. The cut and shut of the roof was very well done and the bulk head was fixed glass/metal. Any information would be of interest. It is a 1988/89...
