    Bordon 12th September

I'm thinking of going. Is it just a turn up and pay jobbie? Is there plenty of trails there for complete novices?

Replacing door hinges...and perhaps a few tips

Thanks for this Rhino. It's a job on my list to do in the next couple of months so appreciate the heads up on the potential pit falls. Cheers, CJ

To Bling or not to Bling...

Thanks everyone for your input. Gulf colours?? Must be one of a kind. I'll probably do the safe, boring thing and go with Limestone :)

To Bling or not to Bling...

Whilst my hardtop is off for the summer I'm going to re-spray it so it doesn't look quite so tatty. My father in law. Lifelong collector of classic MGs thinks I should spray the hard top silver and respray the wheels from black to silver to match. The purist in me thinks I should return both to...

    Barking up the wrong tree?

Can a 109 pick up be turned into a double cab / station wagon with rear doors? Apologies if this is a stupid question. Just wondering if bulkhead layout etc will allow for rear doors. Part 2 of my question... is it worth the bother or should I sell the pick up and buy a LWB with rear doors.

    Is it legal to...

... put 2x 3 man bench seats in the back of my truck cab and carry people around in it? Lap belts will be provided for some semblance of security...

    Truck Cab roof removal watch-outs?

Thanks everyone. Will take some before and after pics. I'm not sure which will look better. As for pulling... think my pulling days are over. Still you never know - a gold digger might mistake me for landed gentry. Thinking that I look shabby chic or something...

    Truck Cab roof removal watch-outs?

I'm thinking of taking the cab roof off my S3 pick-up truck to soak up some rays - what are the watch-outs? Will everything else stay in place or do I need to remove any other bits? Thanks for your thoughts.

    Haynes Manual supplement for 6cyl?

There doesn't appear to be a Haynes manual specifically for either a LWB or 6 cyl. Have they produced a supplement to the ubiquitous 4cyl 88 manual? Ta

    6cyl petrol..

I think I bought the vehicle you're referring to!! Having read this thread after picking it up I've only just summoned the courage to own up!!! In my defence it does look and sound great, has had chassis sorted out and runs well. Not sure how thirsty it is yet though... Any watch outs to be...

What the hell have I bought

It looks great and I can empathise with you having just bought a 109 6cyl pick-up against my better judgement and without telling mrs CJ - i fell a little in love with the fine burble from the brand new exhaust. So nice after what feels like a lifetime of driving supposed refined diesel engines...
