It was serviced about a year ago. I have not checked any fluid level, or changed the air/oil filter. Sometimes, everything seems to work fine.

I bought a new calcium battery from performancebatteries.co.uk at just under £50, half the price of Halfords own brand, and with free next day delivery. When it arrived, I connected it, and it was wonderful to hear the sound of the engine again. Thank you all for your help and advice. :clap2:

Update.... All of a sudden, the central locking started to work!!!!! Can't complain, guess it saved me few quid. No idea what caused it, and what fixed it.

Thanks for the advice. Had a look, and the inertia switch was tripped. Pushed it to reset, checked the fuses, they are fine. I guess it is going to be the dreaded visit to the Land Rover dealer now, or can any auto electrician can fix it?

Thanks Ming. Had a look, and can see any micro switch on the roof (it is a Free Lander V6 model). The boot door doesn't open at all, not with remote nor with the key manually. Key fob activates the alarm fine, but has no effect on the central locking. Unlocking the driver's door from inside...
