Steering wheel now owned by me :D

No water got that far it seems...weve fixed it now, short run down the motorway must have dried it out....we think it might have been the crank sensor got water in it....cheers guys

Hi all, ive a friend that last night drowned his disco 2 in water without a snorkel...subsequently it cut out.... Weve now got it running but it wont go past 2.5 - 3k revs without cutting out... ecu is dry, any ideas?

A day trip out is a 500 Mile trip :) for what I'd save on buying the bumper will cost me a million pounds in diesel and I could buy a new one :)

Plenty of nuts where I'm from.... Apparently the chassis has been away for patching and perfecting etc - it needs a rear shock mount welding on however he says....and the wiring has been completely re-done too....it screams 'buy me' and its £1400.....

Wonderful, thanks - I shall bear this all in mind, thankfully it's a friend who owns it and previously worked for Land Rover so I'm hoping all will be well....

Hi All, I'm almost at a stage to purchase an E-Plate 1988 Defender with a 2.5TD in... Is there anything I need to be particularly wary off ( other than it's high top speed ;) ) or look for before said purchase? Any help would be gratefully received. Ta
