Hi
Looking into getting some BF Goodrich or Cooper mud tyres for my standard/not lifted 1993 Defender 90. At the moment I have 235/70R16, so would 235/85R16 still fit ok considering the wings, wheel arches and my current wheels?
Thank you for the help

I bought a pair of defender diff guards from the Newbury sortout a few weeks ago and need a few replacement nuts and bolts for them. Does anybody know where I can buy the type needed - 8mm x 70mm with nylok nuts, not ones with the allen key head though?
Thank you

I'll try FJ (Footman James right?) when my insurance comes up for renewal again in a few months. I've got quotes from them in the last few years, but they have been maybe £300-£400 more than anyone else - but maybe as I'm 25 years old now, their price will go down a bit?
I do want to get a 2"...

Thank you Mat, just what I was thinking, a rather big replacement part but just a replacement part all the same.

Hi
Just wondering if people know whether insurance companies class a galavanised chassis as a modification and so you have to declare it?
As far as I'm concerned its just a straight swap, old (damaged) for new, is it not? technically no modification has been done.
Any thoughts would be very...

Thank you everybody for your responses.
Last question is: how much oil does the gearbox, transfer box and axles hold? So how much of each oil (number of ltrs etc) will I need to fill them up?
Thank you for all your help.
