Was happy 'till this morning - €214 to change the 2 central locking motors/locks at dealers here in Mallorca. But have to admit thats all thats gone wrong in 14 months so not too bad. Had far worse!!

Hi Markw, Am going to replace complete latch with solenoid that I can buy here in Land Rover for around £70. Bit extortionate as its an integral unit and solenoid is not available here separately. Bit of a fiddly job but not difficult.

Am also having the same problem with passenger door on lhd freelander. Just suddenly stopped opening but does lock with remote. Will take apart door at weekend and advise what I find.

Does anyone have an idea where I can get a side moulding kit for a 2003 3 door. Fed up with having my doors bashed in carparks by careless Spaniards. LR Centre are out of stock and have no date for resupply.

Been told by The Mad Hat Man to ask MING about turbo hoses and EGR(?) regarding my recently purchased late 2003 TD4 with 70000km here in Mallorca. Need to be changed or what?? Also whats the oil change interval as service interval appears to be 20000km.
