    Dont use air con, noise isnt on when driving, just when engines switched off. And it is a petrol.

    I have a Landrover Freelander 2001, have noticed recently that after driving and switching off the engine a very loud noise comes from under the bonnet kind of like fan noise? Its quite loud and people tend to stare at me as if its gonna blow up!! Just wondering if this is normal as I bought...
