Years ago i rebuilt an early 90, galv chassis, 200tdi, metalic paint, everything was galv or stainless, cost me a fortune. Had it valued by a 3rd party company, they valued it at 12k, sent me the report which i forwarded onto the insurance company. I think it cost me £150 for the valuation.

Since i was a kid i wanted a V8 landrover with a supercharger, my 90 only does about 500 miles a year and i enjoy working on it. Something nice about having a supercharger sat on to of the engine!! Any advice appreciated

This is what mine looks like, pump is on the right.

I picked up some wolf door bottoms at billing for £70, in very good condition with nice door cards and they fit the 90 door strikers, got some aluminium door tops on ebay for £100, far better than the steel ones that rust from the inside.

I made mine from lorry mudguards on ebay, cost £30 and half a days work with a heat gun, pop rivets and a tube of sikaflex. They are 5 inches outside the bodywork and look pretty good.

What engine is it, what year? You sure its the engine missing and not something else, a problem in the running gear maybe???

Is it speed related or at a certain RPM?

i have 315x85 R16's on 8" mach 5 rims, no problem fitting them and they look good

With engine running, foot off the clutch and gearbox in neutral you should be able to feel if the main shaft is spinning by gently selecting a gear. If you feel nothing then you can assume there is no drive between engine and gearbox, if you do feel the shaft spinning with a slight knock or...

Anyone have any experience with the ECU chips, is it worth spending £300, does it make that much difference? Was thinking of getting the cyclone chip for my 3.9efi.

Watching a janspeed turbo and manifolds on ebay at the moment, i contacted the seller and asked what else needs to be done to the engine when turbo is fitted, his answer was "nothing if you keep low boost pressure". Is this right, and if i have to run low boost........is it worth fitting?

Just fitted the 1:1.4 box and what a difference, nice up through the gears and pulls like a train on the hills. Checked the serial number on the old box and it was a range rover 1:1, thanks guys

I am thinking of fitting a Janspeed turbo to my 3.9efi, what exactly is involved, other than fitting the turbo what else has to be done?
