its that little bit that secures to the body of the throttle body housing. with 2 screws.that costs 5 pence to make +land rover charge £70.00 OUCH!!!!!

replaced t.p.i. running fine,for now many thanks all.

MORE HELP REQ. eliminated inlet manifold,air hoses for splits+blockages,has aluminium throttle body housing +cleaned inside,keep suggestions coming.map is integral to ecu.

hi, freelander 1800 petrol injection 1998. the idle generally ranges between 1100 1300rpm. but at junctions etc.once stopped regulary at 2500rpm, a quick blib of the throttle will bring it down again but will still be irratic and sometimes climbs rapidly again forcing me to blip it again.also...
