Thanks Wimblowdriver, all comments welcome, the top and box in video are both from factory / 3rd party cubby boxes we have modified actually, and them looking a bit cheap was one of the reasons we thought about making a better one! I honesltly don't know how square section hardboard as made it...

have had another look and the vendor specific pin is pin 8, which will be communicating with SA10? (the other two are 16 power and chassis ground obviously)

did anyone find out what the 3 cables are for, apart from power? I shall plug in a diagnostics scanner this week, but would be good if it can be used with a raspberry pi based device with a CAN hat and 4G to be able to remotely turn alarm & immobiliser on/off, or at least see status...

Am about to start this process as some scroat broke my window to steal the dashcam… is it obvious where the tabs need glueing, is there a diagram somewhere or do I need to take the other door card off on other side to see where the glue tabs go? I was going to use epoxy

yep, if I find a good one I want and it happens to be diesel it will still be “grab your coat you’ve pulled time” ;) (no diesel pulling harder pun intended)

They should all be ok for that from an over 40yo perspective, but I imagine they will have to have an original spec engine to qualify... and the debate is over for me as I have found there was a 2.6 in line 6 petrol!

nobody has mentioned so far the fumes, I can live with old diesel fumes, as in the end its just smoke, but tend to admire classic cars from a distance as the smell from the old petrol engines is gag reflex territory, is that the same with the series or is it because the other petrol classics you...

thanks for help both, it had fallen off its perch thankfully, and you are right, it was purposefully pert, not at all squidgy... and had squirted oil... ok, will stop now :)

I have original 1996 grille and surround s that look a bit, tired as they say of houses... plus one if the spars on grill is broken. anybody glued / fixed and painted or if not any recommendations on getting replacements that do not look like a cracker toy like some I see?
