I had the same situation just before the water pump blew. new pump gasket and serpentine belt about £70 from rimmers. But now i can hear the sound of running water which sounds like its coming from the passenger foot well, any ideas peeps? Paul.

Good news, I rang all the local breakers and found a compressor, which by the look of it, Id say say was nearly new. I bought a seal kit ages ago but it pumps up fine with the relay jumper. Iv been told it could be the thermal switch and or the bushes? Changing out the whole unit seems to be the easiest plan. Paul.

I still have low volume and the squeal i bought a harness from nexxia.com which alowed me to keep the sub and the door speakers working, just need to earth all the door amps to the chassis is what ive been told not the doors, and see if that gets rid of the squeal.
