    It's an awesome rack and the beauty is that you can swing the bikes out of the way when you need to get in the boot. You can also fold up the lower bracket when you take the bike off or completely remove the rack part really easily when not in use as shown.

    Cheers Ron, she should be good for a few more years but I don't have the space/time to keep her on the road. I've spent a fortune on having the boot re-floored properly by a reputable garage so with a little fine fettling will make somebody a bargain motor.

    thanks for all input. RAC man plugged hole with bolt and liquid metal so have managed to get to destination. If anyone has a spare part in Bristol and is about tomorrow that would be great otherwise I shall be crossing my fingers and fix

    Thanks guys. RAC here with noddy wagon (can't tow a 4x4), going to use a bolt to seal the hole. Should be ok to get us to Bristol. just the return journey to worry about.
