I have just noticed that sparks are coming from the pre-heater on my 2004MY Freelander. Does anyone know why this might be happening? I am worried of course about filling up at the petrol station / setting fire to something. :mad:

Has anyone out there got any suggestions for upgrading the standard suspension on a 2004 MY Freelander 1? The vehice is used mainly on road, and I would like to reduce the wallowing and pitch and roll when braking. Options might be firmer springs, trick suspension units - any ideas? Thanks Simon

:mad: Can anyone help, I get a noise on start up from the engine bay on the passenger nearside wing. This starts after about 40 seconds. If I switch the engine off it continues with a greally loud humming and whining noise, with some gurgling. This continues for a few minutes 9with the engine...
