Never done it so can't be sure but everything I've read about it would indicate that you have to drop subframe

On principal I would take it back to garage ...... A slave cylinder should be expected to last more than 18 months. If the garage fitted it incorrectly or chose to use a cheap pattern part this is their fault
Even if you have decided to get rid.... Get the garage to sort this first then at...

Just got a genuine land rover one cheap off eBay..... Currently modifying it so that its full length
Just have to figure out best way of mounting it in roof rail mounting points to get it close to roof...

Re painted my interior door handles using ford champagne gold ..... Look ok and much better than the old scratched version

When I did mine..... Ground all the rivets down ..... Gave the ball joint a whack with the hammer and off it came

did all freelanders come with pre installed tow electrics ?
On my last 3 freelanders I've had no trouble finding the connector... Took of the drivers side panel in the boot and there lurking around was a white connector.
Just fitted a tow bar to my 2004 SE, took the panel off and can't find...

Cables are cheap
A complete regulator and motor can be had for about 30 quid or so........ Pattern part but with 2 year warranty

At my last oil change I used the latest spec ll04 Stuff
It's way to thin for me .... My engine seems a lot noisier than it was before
As said above this is probably great in a brand new engine but not right in an older engine with over 100k on the clock
Will be going for a cheaper semi...

That's good ..... Looking at the mangled bit of metal I got out of there I don't think welding it back in is an option
I'll live without it .... Or might see if I can bolt it in if there is enough clearance when the door is shut
