    Good steering guards?

Thanks, I'd already found them though and this is the reason for my questions, seeing as they do a one piece guard and most others do a 3 piece.

    Good steering guards?

There seem to be a few available, both one piece and three, and at a range of prices (new)... Are they all decent enough? Is there any point in buying a more expensive one when they seem to be made out of the same grade of steel/ally:confused: Who has put theirs up to the test?:)...and did...

Fitting a reasonable stereo in a 110 CSW?

Nice chap - RH. Met him a while back at a TG filming. His system is a tad more than I'm planning on, still, if my Def was going to be just a toy...:D But it's not, it shall be a day to day beastie as well. I think I may pop the rear speakers underneath the rear seats on the carpet & use velcro...

Fitting a reasonable stereo in a 110 CSW?

Cheers. :) I plan on making speaker boxes and having tweeters on the 'A' pillars. I just need to spend some time deciding where I am going to put the rear boxes. I'll probably use some pull-apart plugs in the speaker wire too, so I can remove the speakers easily when I have a load in the back.

Fitting a reasonable stereo in a 110 CSW?

Thanks very much for the replies, all :). Looks like I'll be buying some MDF and 6x9's, a decent head unit and we'll see what takes shape.

Fitting a reasonable stereo in a 110 CSW?

Hi folks, Has anyone fitted a decent/resonable stereo in their Defender 110? The standard offering is poor, to say the least and I'm after something I will take pleasure in listening to. Don't get me wrong, I do not want big bass, dvd screens etc, I just want 4 to 6 speakers and good...

    I bought one!

Thanks, chaps, but I'll pass on the offers ;) I plan on Charlie (I'm sorry, I couln't resist naming her!) being a long-term love affair. Thankfully my Mrs approves! :D

Not far from Lampeter. We can't wait, but alas have to...should be there by mid May at the latest.

A friends farm - it's only a couple of miles from where I live at the moment (off to Wales soon).

    I bought one!

Fear not, my muddy-minded friend, for I have baptised the glorious glistening Defender with Hampshires finest mud already :D Out came the jet wash when I got her home though!

    I bought one!

 Very fair point. Dare I mention the fact that the 1st two owners never took it off road? It was used for towing (a caravan!:wtf:)
