Good steering guards?

There seem to be a few available, both one piece and three, and at a range of prices (new)...

Are they all decent enough? Is there any point in buying a more expensive one when they seem to be made out of the same grade of steel/ally

Who has put theirs up to the test?...and did it live to tell the tale???

Thanks, I'd already found them though and this is the reason for my questions, seeing as they do a one piece guard and most others do a 3 piece.

Go for a 3 piece, much easier to fit! I got a paddocks one for about £50 and it's fine and has taken several batterings to no detriment!

Cheers, I'll take a look @ Paddocks

I've got a paddocks one and love it. Been towed from it. Done some quite serious recovery from it (even managed to snap a towing strap) and its taken its fair share of knocks too. A little distorted but still going strong!

i have just bought on of the cs ones on friday and i am waiting for delivery but by all accounts they seem to be very good and great value for money.]
