Ah ha... i guess you could be right and I have probably opened up a thread which makes me look a fool. How about this as an addition to the original post: Whats the best way of removing the support plate without taking the fuel tank out? Any links or threads would be very useful? Thanks

Hi. New to the site - Have a RR Sport 2007 and its just failed MOT on corroded fuel tank support plate. I have jacked the car up and started undoing the bolts that hold the cradle in place, but after removing a few bolts noticed the fuel tank itself has started to drop. I have stopped work for...
