    Green laning in Sawtry, Peterborough

Hello, I live in Chatteris, and I'd like to start getting my 90 out where she belongs. Are you open to noobs? I work irregular hours, so I'm not always around, but I'm looking to get out with a group rather than solo. Thanks!

    Benefits of Blade Fuse Conversion?

Thanks. I hadn't thought of that, but I do have the Haynes and the LR DIY manual. I'll check it out.

    Benefits of Blade Fuse Conversion?

Late to the conversation, sorry about that. I have a C Reg 90 that a previous owner installed a blade fuse box. Top notch work, I've had no problems with it. Unfortunately, they didn't map it out either. Is there an easy way to do this? I've considered turning everything on, pulling fuses...

    90 Rear step bolts

That's the info I was looking for. Thanks for your help!

    90 Rear step bolts

Sure, it's not a critical part, but the holes on the bumper look like they are threaded, maybe 11-12mm. I was hoping someone knew the exact diameter, thread pitch (or whatever the technical term is) and length required. Carrying the bumper into the shop would be a problem...:)

    90 Rear step bolts

Picked up a used rear step at a boot sale last weekend. Should be good to go once I clean the old grease and a little rust off it. Anyone know what size/type bolts are needed to attach it to the rear bumper? My local LR shop didn't have them and couldn't tell me the size. Thx!

    Defender parts sellers?

There seems to be a million different vendors of Land Rover parts. Anyone have a tip on who to avoid or who's has the best service/prices? The one I've seen the most of is Paddocks, any opinions? Thanks.

Basic Tool Kit for a 90

I don't think this stuff will fit into a tool roll, maybe a trailer, but thanks for the tips. And, Scotsman, condoms are valuable survival gear in hundreds of situations. Not just those involving livestock. :D

Basic Tool Kit for a 90

Hey all, Just picked up my 1st Land Rover, a1986 90 2.5 NA diesel, yesterday. Having fun sorting out random issues. So far nothing really crazy. Question of the day: I want to put together a basic tool roll to keep in her. Suggestions on contents? Tools and spares for "likely to fail"...

    Bought 1st Land Rover Today

Thanks for the tip. I'm using Rockingham Land Rover near Corby if anyone knows them. They seem like good people. Honest even. However, "trust but verify" as Ronald Reagan used to say.

    Bought 1st Land Rover Today

Maybe Alconbury? That's near hear and it has a bowling alley. They've closed several in this area over the years.

    Bought 1st Land Rover Today

1st Pic, a little rust around the door edges and under the windshield, but no holes and the chassis seems solid. I'm taking it in to my local Land Rover service this weekend. Let's hope I did a fair job of inspecting her and made a good choice.

    Bought 1st Land Rover Today

Alfresco, Thanks for the welcome, I'll have pictures up soon. Sean, It's true, I don't have one myself. The UK grants a special visa for US servicemen to come over here to steal British women. ;) S/F Brandon

    Bought 1st Land Rover Today

Howdy, heya, howzit, merhaba, etc. I am an American Marine living in Cambs for the next few years and bought a 90 today. I'm looking forward to refurbishing my Landy and doing a little off-roading with the family. The Landy itself is an 86, with a 2.5 Diesel, chassis seems solid, a little...
