Anybody bought a good set of brake drums that work ok. I bought some from a well known supplier and they are ****. The brakes judder and the pedal moves up and down when pressed. 10inch

Think it's more blue, which is engine oil. Just not sure if it could be valve stem oil seals or needs rebore. Compression test I guess is needed. However it runs and pulls ok and just assed mot so not too bothered.

I have a series 3 with a 2.5 na defender engine. The radiator is standard s3. I bought a new bottom rad hose but the end that goes onto the water pump is way too small. Anybody any ideas about what hose to use?

Problem solved Steve parkers have a conversion kit for using a series 3 temp probe. Cost 10.00. I think it can also be used in a 200 tdi conversion. Many thanks for your help.

Hello everybody, have fitted 2.5na into my series 3 and have just one small problem to solve. The temp gauge does does not work with the defender temp sender. I have a sender from original 2.25 petrol engine but the threads are different. Anybody solved this problem. Thanks for your help.

55 quid is ok as long as its a standard rover diff and does not whine or have excessive play.

Did read the bit about moving engine forward but was not sure if this was neck assay using the standard trans box. Given I have put in a 2.5 diesel which is a longer engine moving it forward would require major mods. Best look on eBay for quality standard box.
