Is changing the oil filter and oil something I could do? I'm not mechanically minded but happy to try anything. I can creep down the road in the car but the minute I give it the beans she gets all stuttery and stalls. No engine lights temperature normal

I had the fault codes read today it said cylinder 3 and 4 mis-fire

Oil level is normal the oil looks a little on the brown side

Need some help I'm getting intermittent fault with the car where I can be driving nice for hundreds of miles and then for no reason the car will over Rev and not build any speed. I took to a gear box specialist that said it was a problem with the control board of the car not the gear box itself...

So brand new problem now! The car feels I lose power/drive the revs go up but not the speedo. Then the car returns to normal it happened once and I put it down to cold weather (ridiculous I know) but it happened again today... Bloody car!!! I'm thinking transmission fluid low, fuel injector...

The lights were not on. To my knowledge there was nothing on in the car (visible) apart from what drained the battery which I think could of been the AMP in the rear not turning off

Ok after a lot of reading ... Drivers side fog light!! Remove the plastic trim, remove the bulb inset some decent copper wire into the positive and negative and connect to a power pack - this provided enough power to open the doors. Boom! Not sure if u could jump it this way but I only needed...

So how do you get into a Range Rover Vogue 03 plate with a flat battery?? I can't use the key as the door mech is broken. Any ideas welcome? Is there such a thing as being able to jump it? Without opening the bonnet

No Sadly not. My car does have a key hole but the mech inside is broken and has been since I owned the car. I've always used the remote

Well a full battery charge and all came back to life very happy - then left the car alone for a few weeks and now the Battery has gone flat and I'm locked out? Any idea how I now jump start without being able to open the bonnet??

I think that the water that had possible shorted the battery maybe? The fan belt had slipped off but was still intact with no tension around any of the pulleys
