How I spent my holiday week :D

LOL I have no idea what happened. You would think I would have had some warning noises or would have been offroading and it happened there. but just driving around on the base should have been just fine.

How I spent my holiday week :D

So since I'm taking some leave in Aug. and going home for the 1st time in years. So I figured I would get a jump start on doing all the checks to my hippo to split the costs over a few months and I was heading out for one of those lovely month long field exorcises. So I did the fluids, filters...

Problem with rear Tailgate Window on Freelander Commercial

Might want to look at the seals and what not against the glass. There could be something causing it to bind up enough where it stops there. Ive not had this problem with my freelander but Ive seen that with other electric windows.

Opening the rear hatch door with no power.

A little update. After getting back from a wonderful field exorcize ( :mil83: ) I finally got the door out and swapped.:5bparty: So I have all the parts from a 2002 rear door minus the glass so if anyone needs any of those parts hit me up. There just sitting here and I don't really have a place...

Opening the rear hatch door with no power.

Ok, so once I translated what Ming said to an English I can understand I went back and looked at the wire and not the pin locations out of the book. they have the PU wire listed on a different pin. So anyway I just followed the PU wire and the B wire used those pins and put some voltage across...

    Hi all! :)

I was looking at a defender but it was a really old one that was pretty beat up. But I'm gonna keep an eye out for a newer one. A buddy of mine has a 04 range rover. its pretty sweet but it seams like its just a bigger fancier version of my freelander, I guess it could be referred to as the...

Opening the rear hatch door with no power.

Thanks Ming the Merciless :blabla: I know the computer will stop the door from doing different things based on the window and such. So wasn't sure if I could just put power to certain wires and have it pop open.

Hey all. I am replacing my rear hatch door and got a line on a decent used one for cheap but I cant open the door because they removed the wiring harness from the engine bay. :( So... ya. Not sure how to feed power into the system. is there a way I can power just the rear section... or maybe...
